Dr. Prashant Kumar Srivastava is an Assistant Professor of Law at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow. He has published more than a dozen of Research peppers in various International Journals on different legal, and socio- legal issues and presented research papers in many national and International-seminars.
Before joining SRMU in August 2018, he has worked as Assistant Professor (Law) & HOD, Nims School of Law, NIMS University Rajasthan, Jaipur (From 09th April 2013), where he was awarded with “Certificate of Appreciation” by Hon’ble Chairperson on 26th January, 2018. He was honoured for good work in Academics by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ajay Rastogi (Chief Justice Tripura High Court) on Felicitation ceremony of Hon’ble Mr.Justice Ajay Rastogi in Rajasthali Judicial School of Law, Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur (on 10 Foundation day) on 17th February, 2018.
He has invited to deliver guest lecture for LL. M. students at Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur. He has judged various Moot Court competitions, delivered a live interview on “Law Career” in Program “Career India”, in News India Channel on 4th September 2015
He completed his Ph. D. on topic “A Critical Study of Freedom of Speech & Expression: With Special Reference to Recent Cartoon Controversies in India and Global Context”. From MJRP University, LL.M. (First Division with Distinction) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow,; LL.B. (First Division ) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad.
